Job Title: Food and Beverage Consultant

About the job:

KAZA Consult are currently looking for candidates to further develop their Hospitality Consultancy Service to both support future growth and support in the delivery of projects in KSA. The ideal candidate should be someone who preferably with a Management/ Operational experience in the Middle East region.

The role is based in Riyadh but may require travel around the Kingdom. The candidate will be exposed to a number of departments, being able to analyze and advice on operation, supply chain, marketing, finance, sales, etc...

Food and beverage Consultant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth observations of restaurant clients and engage in market research, taking note of competitors and target demographics
  • Recommending menu selections, considering various criteria based on market trend, ease of presentation, production cost, quality and authenticity, and price points
  • Provide solutions to increase efficiency and drive down costs. preparing sales and profit projections, usually covering up to a year ahead and setting strategic budgets
  • Can streamline any step of the hiring process, from crafting precise job descriptions to interviewing On a larger scale, they may reshape company culture through training programs
  • Onsite delivery of engagements
  • Support the Project Manager in delivering quality deliverables for our clients
  • Support in presentations to clients
  • Assist in the development of tools and template to support successful delivery
  • Support in any business development activities including the preparation of bids, pricing and content development
  • Complete assigned tasks accordingly

F&B Consultant Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven food and beverage consulting/management experience minimum of 5-8 years
  • Culinary/Hospitality Diploma or Degree Qualified
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded
  • Both Arabic and English speaker
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Compliance best practices in management and improving business processes
  • Ability to structure a large amount of information within a process framework
  • Strong data management and detail oriented
  • Basic understanding of Project management including:
  • Risk Management
  • Cost Management
  • Schedule Management
  • Resource Management
  • Be professional with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and determined to pursue continuous improvement, which is essential to processes & procedures development
